TRISTATE NURSING RESOURCE CENTER
The Tristate Nursing Resource Center is a collaborative initiative facilitated by the Greater Cincinnati Health Council Workforce Center. The TNRC provides centralized, customer focused nursing education services for schools of nursing and clinical agencies within the Tristate region.
The TNRC launched in August of 2008 with 13 Greater Cincinnati Health Council members participating. Since 2008 the TNRC has increased membership by 33 percent and currently includes 40 members from Cincinnati and Dayton.
The TNRC website’s primary applications include the Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS) and the Centralized Faculty Resource Center (CFRC). The Centralized Clinical Placement System streamlines the clinical scheduling process and exposes untapped openings, allowing Greater Cincinnati programs to increase enrollment. The Centralized Faculty Resource Center addresses the need for qualified Tristate educators by creating a one-stop resource that connects nursing professionals and schools of nursing.
The TNRC website also brings nursing resources to the Tristate including: nursing news, conference & seminars, listings of national and regional nursing organizations and continuing education.

Workforce Center
Since 1957, the Health Council has represented hospitals in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana. The Greater Cincinnati Health Council is a not-for-profit member service organization dedicated to working cooperatively with hospitals and other health care providers to promote high quality, cost-effective patient care for the community.
The Health Care Workforce Center was created in 2002 to assist the member’s recruitment and retention of staff. The areas of focus for the recruitment and retention activities include: health career exploration programs, health care education support, and initiatives for the recruitment and retention of our current health care workforce.
